ORDERING A COMMISSION

Email several good quality photos of the subject you would like drawn, I like a selection so I can check which photo would work best as a pencil/coloured pencil portrait. The quality of your photos will be checked at this point and drawing recommendations (size/colour/grayscale) will be offered. When commissioning a drawing please bear in mind higher quality the photograph's allow me to achieve the closest likeness and highest detail.

Group portraits are possible and can be created from separate images.

If you are happy with the quote, your commission can be secured with a 30% deposit. An estimated start date will then be provided and where possible I will accommodate a deadline. Once your drawing is complete, a photo will be provided for your approval.

Once you are happy with your drawing I will email you an invoice. Drawings will be sent once full payment has been cleared Your completed art work will be packaged securely and posted via Royal Mail.
All commissions are posted with insurance.

Payment options

Cost of commissions include:

Pay using PayPal, Debit or Credit card, or Bank Transfer.

A 30% deposit is required or you can split the total into 6 monthly installments.

Or pay in full upfront.

Help with choosing the perfect reference photo.
Progress pictures of your commissioned artwork.
Portraits are mounted with acid-free conservation mount board.
A Certificate of Authenticity and Artwork Care Guide is included.
Commissions are packed in a gift box and wrapped in acid-free tissue paper.
Shipping will be charged after the completion of the portrait when it has been packed, measured and weighed.

Framing

For an extra charge, I can professionally frame your portrait so it is ready to hang on your wall as soon as you receive it. This is a popular addition to the pet portrait experience for most of my customers as it can be difficult to find the time to have the portrait framed yourself.

Anti-glare UV protective Plexi glass is used to give your portrait full protection from the elements and ensure its longevity. Please let me know if you would like a specific colour or frame style and I can provide you with mock-ups to choose from.
